If you are interested in commissioning an instrument, we can arrange an appointment to discuss various options, ideas, and preferences.
We can talk about different types of instruments, desired materials, special features, and any other requirements you have in mind.
I am always open to unusual and creative ideas, as long as I can realistically bring them to life.
I offer a variety of instruments for different styles, including classical, baroque, and folk music.
Each instrument is unique and built to meet the individual needs and preferences of musicians.
Pricing
Base prices
Violin: £5.000+
Viola: £7.000+
Cello: £14.000+
This is the starting price for a custom-made instrument. The total cost will change based on the type of wood, strings, fittings, and decorations chosen.
Add decorative carving or inlays

Head carvings: from £1300
Pegbox relief carvings: from £400,
or £20 an hour
Decorative purfling inlays: from £200,
or £20 per hour
The additional costs for decorative work will be added to the base price.
